Józef Below (January 2, 1904 – September 23, 1939) was a Polish sculptor known for his allegorical reliefs. He studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Tadeusz Breyer. Below created notable works such as the reliefs at the entrance of the former Chamber of Commerce Building in Warsaw and at Wedel House, where he depicted themes of industry and agriculture. His works combined classical motifs with modern elements. He was executed during the early stages of World War II and is buried at the Wawrzyszew Cemetery in Warsaw.
