Joshua J. Cohen is an American Democratic politician and served as the mayor of Annapolis, Maryland from December 7, 2009. He won the mayoral election in 2009 with 46.5% of the vote against Republican David Cordle and independent Chris Fox. Prior to serving as mayor, Cohen was a member of the Anne Arundel County Council and the Annapolis City Council. His political career reflects a commitment to public service and governance within local Maryland politics.
