Josh Emmons, born in 1973, is an American novelist from Northern California. He obtained his MFA from the University of Iowa and has published several novels, including 'The Loss of Leon Meed' in 2005 and 'Prescription for a Superior Existence' in 2008, both exploring profound themes. His works have received recognition, including a Book Sense pick and awards. Emmons has taught at various institutions and is currently an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at UC Riverside. His latest book, 'A Moral Tale and Other Moral Tales', is set for release in April 2017.
