Joseph Roy Metheny was one of the most notorious serial killers in criminal history, known for his gruesome methods of disposing of victims. He gained infamy for allegedly serving them as barbecue to unsuspecting customers. Operating primarily in the early 1990s, he was associated with the deaths of several women, whom he would lure before brutally killing them. Despite being apprehended, he showed no remorse for his actions. Metheny's life ended in incarceration, where he was found dead in his cell in 2017 at the age of 62.
