Serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he later joined Arthur Andersen, where he initiated the use of computers for business operations. Known as the 'father' of the computer consulting industry, he led significant projects such as automating payroll for General Electric. His notable invention, the Glickiac, served as a demonstration of computer potential, fundamentally transforming industry practices. Glickauf passed away in 2005.
