Joseph Martin Danks, known as The Koreatown Slasher, is an American spree killer and serial killer. In January 1987, he killed six homeless men in Los Angeles' Koreatown neighborhood. Convicted of these murders, he was sentenced to life in prison at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. In 1990, he received a death sentence for the murder of his cellmate, Walter Holt, who was 67 years old at the time of his death.
