Josef Jacob Stanglmeier was a German building contractor, politician, and philanthropist born on December 25, 1918, in Abensberg, Lower Bavaria. He significantly influenced municipal affairs for over 30 years as a city councilor and deputy mayor of Abensberg, as well as a member of the Kelheim district council. Elected to the Bavarian Senate from the craftsmen's group, he also held political responsibilities at the state level. He served as Vice President of the Chamber of Crafts of Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate and was a senator until his death on June 25, 1999.
