José María Forqué Galindo was a Spanish film director, screenwriter, and producer born in Zaragoza on March 8, 1923, and passed away in Madrid on March 17, 1995. Active in Spanish cinema since the mid-1940s, he received numerous awards throughout his career. He was married to writer Carmen Vázquez-Vigo and was the father of actress Verónica Forqué and director Álvaro Forqué. Notable films in his filmography include 'Embajadores en el infierno' (1956), 'Maribel y la extraña familia' (1960), 'Usted puede ser un asesino' (1960), 'Atraco a las tres' (1962), and 'Las que tienen que servir' (1967).
