He completed his studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a degree in History, where he received honors. He later specialized in Teaching History at the Autonomous University of Campeche. His postgraduate education includes a Master's in Higher Education with a focus on History and a Ph.D. in History. Since 1994, he has served as the City Chronicler in the Campeche City Council.
