He founded and managed two basketball teams in San Sebastián competing in the Spanish Basketball League: Atlético San Sebastián and Askatuak. Additionally, he played a key role in the establishment of the ACB (Asociación de Clubes de Baloncesto) alongside Eduardo Portela, significantly contributing to the development of basketball in Spain.
