Jørn Ege was a Danish doctor, trained as a plastic surgeon, known for controversial procedures such as penile enlargements and breast augmentations. He founded the Scandinavian Clinic of Plastic Surgery, which went bankrupt in 2004. In 2005, he was charged with serious tax fraud and various other offenses, leading to his flight from Denmark. After being apprehended in Greece and initially not extradited, he eventually returned to Denmark, where he was sentenced to two years in prison, later receiving another sentence for hiring thieves during incarceration.
