Jorma Ihatsu (September 25, 1937 – February 1, 2014) was a Finnish entrepreneur known for founding and managing the Valintatalo chain, as well as Aleksi 13 and Ajatar stores. He started his career in retail management and became a significant figure by negotiating delivery contracts that bypassed wholesalers. His innovative marketing strategies made Valintatalo one of the largest advertisers, creating memorable jingles. Under his leadership, the chain grew to 120 stores before being sold in 1986 and later faced bankruptcy during the early 1990s recession.
