Jorge Manuel Fernandes Malheiro de Magalhães is a Portuguese lawyer and politician born on March 8, 1955, in Lousada. He served as the Mayor of Lousada from 1989 to 2013, representing the Socialist Party (PS) and winning consecutive elections with an absolute majority. Due to term limit laws, he did not run in the 2013 elections and was succeeded by Pedro Machado. Currently, he is the President of the Municipal Assembly of Lousada and the Vice President of Turismo Porto e Norte. He has also been involved in various cultural and sports associations in Lousada.
