Jorge Esteban Fernández Bustillo is a socialist politician from Asturias, born on August 4, 1943, in Uviéu. He is a Chair of Philosophy at a secondary education institution. He served as the director of the Instituto Carreño Miranda from 1985 to 1987 and was later appointed Regional Director of Culture. Between 1990 and the 1991 elections, he held the position of Counselor of Education, Culture, and Sports. He was elected councilor of Uviéu in 1999 and re-elected in 2003, serving as spokesperson for the Socialist Municipal Group.
