Jorge Alfredo Agúndez is an Argentine lawyer and politician, born on December 2, 1945, in Ciudad de San Luis. He is a member of the Unión Cívica Radical and served as a National Deputy from 1989 to 1993, and as a National Senator from 1995 to 2005, representing the province of San Luis. He was the president of the UCR's Senate bloc between 2000 and 2001. In 1987, Agúndez was a radical candidate for governor of San Luis but lost to the Justicialist governor Adolfo Rodríguez Saá.
