Jordan Willow Evans is an American politician known for being the only openly transgender elected Republican official in the United States. She began her transition in 2015-2016 and held positions such as secretary of the Republican Town Committee in Charlton, MA, and elected trustee of the local library. Evans was elected Town Constable in 2017 and served on the Dudley-Charlton Regional School Committee. She left the Log Cabin Republicans in 2019 over their endorsement of Trump, and her gender identity has sparked discussions within the Massachusetts Republican Party.
