Joop de Kubber (1928-2002) was a Dutch football player who played as a professional in France for Girondins de Bordeaux at the young age of 22. Notably, he played alongside Bertus de Harder on the left side. After six years, he returned to the Netherlands, where he played for Beroeps Voetbalclub Amsterdam, which merged with DWS to form DWS/A, where he remained until 1960. De Kubber had a notable yet singular international appearance during the Watersnoodwedstrijd, a charity match in Paris, aimed at aiding flood victims in 1953.
