Jonathan Nathaniel Mlevu Moyo, born on January 12, 1957, is a prominent Zimbabwean politician. He held the position of Minister of Higher Education from 2015 to 2017 and served as Minister of Information and Publicity from 2000 to 2005 and 2013 to 2015. As an independent candidate, he was elected to the House of Assembly in 2005 and 2008. Moyo is recognized as the principal architect behind the AIPPA and POSA laws, which are known for their restrictive nature regarding information and public conduct.
