John Stewart Went (born 11 March 1944) is a retired Anglican bishop who served as the Bishop of Tewkesbury from 1996 to 2013 in the Diocese of Gloucester. He was educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Ordained as a deacon in 1969 and then as a priest in 1970, he held various significant positions including Vice-principal of Wycliffe Hall and Archdeacon of Surrey before his consecration as bishop in 1996.
