John-Victor de Jablonski was a German painter born on June 4, 1913, in New York, and he passed away on March 4, 1990, in Darmstadt. He was known for his work in the tradition of French Impressionism and was an independent artist and Freemason. He hailed from the Polish noble family Jablonski-Rykacz. His experiences in the US Army and during World War II greatly influenced his art, which includes elements of modern Impressionism, visions, positive abstraction, and personal contact painting.
