John McLellan is a Scottish newspaper journalist born in February 1962. He served as the editor of The Scotsman from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, he worked as the media chief for the Scottish Conservative Party between 2012 and 2013. In addition to his media roles, he was also a Conservative councillor for the City of Edinburgh from 2017 to 2022, indicating his involvement in both journalism and local government.
