Cedric John Foley MBE was a British Army officer, author, broadcaster, and public relations specialist. He served from 1936 to 1954 and was awarded the MBE for his contributions during WWII. Foley wrote several books about armored warfare, including 'The Boilerplate War' and 'Mailed Fist'. After his military career, he became a public relations consultant and worked with American businesses in Britain. He was also involved in media, serving as a military advisor for the ITV show 'The Army Game' and authoring screenplay novelizations, notably for films such as 'Man in the Moon' and 'Very Important Person'.
