Joe Periton (1901–1980) was a notable rugby union international who represented England from 1925 to 1930 and served as the captain of the team. He made his debut in an international match against Wales on January 17, 1925, at Twickenham and played a total of 21 matches, achieving victory in 12. Periton concluded his international playing career with his final match against Scotland on March 15, 1930, also at Twickenham.
