Jitsuzō Tamura (May 25, 1904 - February 24, 1999) was a Japanese historian specializing in Oriental studies. He served as a professor emeritus at Kyoto University and was the president of Kyoto Women's University. Throughout his academic career, he contributed significantly to the understanding and teaching of Eastern history, fostering education and research in Japan.
