Jitsudō Nagasawa was a Japanese scholar of Buddhist studies, born on February 16, 1910. He served as a professor at Taisho University and was the 29th abbot of Manpuku-ji, a temple of the Shingon Esoteric Buddhism Chizan sect. He achieved the rank of Gon Daisojō, which is a significant title in the Buddhist monastic hierarchy. Nagasawa made substantial contributions to the field of Buddhist education and practice until his passing on December 20, 1968.
