James Peter McKenna was an English professional footballer born on April 18, 1910. He played as a goalkeeper and had a brief career in the English Football League, most notably making a single appearance for Leicester City in a match against Birmingham City during a 3–1 victory on March 26, 1932. He joined Leicester City in February 1930 from Great Harwood and transferred to Bath City in May 1932. McKenna's football career was marked by limited playtime at the professional level.
