James Wayne Lecture was an American football guard, born on October 29, 1924, and passed away on December 19, 1999. He played one season in the All-America Football Conference for the Buffalo Bisons after playing college football at Washington University and Northwestern. He was selected in the eighth round of the 1946 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles before playing for the Bisons in 1946.
