Jesse S. Williams was an American professional baseball player known for his time in the Negro leagues during the 1940s. Born on February 5, 1923, in Meridian, Mississippi, he debuted with the Cleveland Buckeyes in 1944. Throughout his career, Williams played as an outfielder and catcher, continuing with the Buckeyes in 1945 and 1947, and also competing for the Chicago American Giants in 1947. His career spanned a critical era in baseball history before he passed away on January 31, 1996.
