She is also an author, lecturer, falconer, and director of the International Centre for Birds of Prey, which is a leader in the captive breeding of these birds and provides education and rehabilitation services worldwide. Parry-Jones has contributed significantly to conservation efforts and has authored seven books while co-authoring numerous scientific papers. In 1999, she was honored with an OBE for her services to birds.
