He has authored and edited numerous critiques and scholarly works, notably 'Queer Philologies,' which won the 2018 Elizabeth Dietz Prize for the best early modern drama book. Masten was also honored as a Guggenheim Fellow in English Literature in 2022, recognizing his contributions to the field of literary studies.
