Jean Saint-Fort Paillard was a French equestrian born on August 4, 1913, in Saint-Cyr-l'École. He competed in three editions of the Summer Olympics. At the 1948 London Games, he won a gold medal in team dressage and finished sixth in individual dressage. Four years later, at the Helsinki Games, he achieved a commendable fourth position in team dressage. However, at the 1956 Melbourne Games, he did not secure any notable results before passing away on January 16, 1990, in Pebble Beach.
