Jean-Pierre Laflaquière is a retired French senior civil servant, born on August 18, 1947, in Toulouse, France. He served as the High Commissioner of the Republic in French Polynesia from September 3, 2012, to August 23, 2013, and was Prefect of Guyane from 2006 to 2009. Prior to his role in French Polynesia, he was Prefect without assignment from 2011 to 2012. His successor in Polynesia was Lionel Beffre.
