Jean-Michel Cabanier (1936–2010) was a French rugby union international who played mainly for US Montauban. He was part of a strong French national team in the 1960s, playing as a hooker and earning 26 caps. Cabanier's front-row partnership with Arnaldo Gruarin and Jean-Claude Berejnoï was recognized as the world's best. He contributed to France's success in the 1968 Five Nations campaign, which led them to a grand slam victory. He also won the Brennus Shield in the 1966–67 season.
