Jaroslav Dobeš, also known as Guru Jára, is a Czech spiritual teacher, artist, and writer born on January 4, 1971, in Příbram. He is the founder of the esoteric school Poetrie and is known for his controversial practices involving Tantra. Since 2014, he has faced legal issues related to sexual assault allegations against his clients, claiming these acts were for therapeutic purposes. Dobeš was arrested in the Philippines in 2015 and was deported back to the Czech Republic in 2023 to serve a prison sentence for his crimes.
