Janusz Korwin-Mikke, born on October 27, 1942, is a far-right politician, writer, and member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2018. He is the leader of the New Right Congress (KNP) formed in 2011 from the Liberty and Law party, which he has led since its inception in 2009. He was also the leader of the Real Politics Union from 1990 to 1997 and again from 1999 to 2003. Currently, he heads the Liberty party, renamed to Korwin in 2019, and serves in the Polish parliament, elected from the Confederation of Liberty and Independence.
