Janusz Mieczysław Jarosz, also known as Jan Kania and Kazimierz Gradowski, was a Polish engineer, fencer, and artillery lieutenant. He served in the Polish Army, the Polish Armed Forces in the West, and the Home Army. He was involved with the Cichociemni, a group of elite paratroopers during World War II. Jarosz was born on September 13, 1916, in Zakopane, Poland, and passed away on November 20, 1993, in Phoenix, Arizona.
