Jane Brissaud, born Jane Thézier on July 7, 1934, in Flaviac, was a notable French canoeist who excelled in the sport. She won a silver medal in the mixed team canoe double event at the 1957 World Slalom Championships held in Augsburg. Following her athletic career, Brissaud became involved in the management of canoe-kayak sports at both regional and national levels, and she served as a judge in World Championships and the Olympic Games. She was the mother of three kayakists: Frédéric, Laurent, and Manuel Brissaud.
