Jan Vlček (July 10, 1922 – January 2, 1984) was a prominent Czech aerospace engineer known for his significant contributions in the 1960s to 1980s at Aero Vodochody, primarily in jet aircraft design. He was notably involved in the development of the L-29 Delfín and served as the chief designer of the L-39 Albatros. His life’s work was encapsulated by journalist and writer Josef Mladějovský in the book 'Nebe pro Albatros', published in 1988.
