Jan Rohde was a Norwegian pop and rock singer, born on July 14, 1942, in New York and passing away on October 9, 2005, in Stockholm. At the age of 13, he moved to Norway with his parents and began performing with various bands, including The Cool Cats and The Melody Sisters. In the 1970s, he was dubbed the 'Rock King of Scandinavia' by Swedish television and gained popularity in Finland as well. He made notable visits to Finland in 2002 before succumbing to cancer.
