Jan H. Landro is a Norwegian journalist and author, born on December 4, 1948, in Askøy. He has lived in Bergen and served as the cultural editor for Bergens Tidende from 2006 to 2011. Landro has a background in German and English and studied literary science at the University of Bergen. He was instrumental in restructuring the former BT-owned J. W. Eides Forlag from 1986 to 1989 and has been the chair of the Norwegian Production Fund for film and television. He has published numerous books and booklets primarily focused on literary topics.
