Jan Erik Korssjøen is a former CEO of Kongsberg Gruppen who held the position from 1999 to 2008. He is an educated civil engineer from NTH and has held various leadership roles at Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk and Kongsbergindustrien. In addition to his role at Kongsberg, he led the corporate assembly and nomination committee at Telenor from 2001 until he stepped down in May 2012 due to disagreements with the Minister of Trade. He also serves as the chairman of Plan Norge since September 2012.
