Johannes Wilhelmus (Jan) Derksen is a former Dutch long track speed skater, born on March 4, 1951, in Amsterdam. He specialized in long distances and was part of the national selection from 1973 to 1978. He achieved third place in the Dutch Allround Championships in both 1974 and 1975 and finished fourth at the European Championships in 1973. Derksen qualified for the 1976 Winter Olympics but could not compete due to a flu outbreak. Besides skating, he was also an active amateur cyclist, participating in criteriums during the off-season.
