Jakub Dominik is a Czech drummer and pianist, born on January 23, 1981, in Ostrava. He plays drums and piano in the band Kryštof. Initially uninterested in music as a child, he returned to it during high school, trying trumpet before focusing on drums inspired by his father's playing. Before joining Kryštof, he had a jazz-rock band in Havířov called Šatny ženy and played jazz in Český Těšín. He joined Kryštof due to a temporary need for a drummer, but impressed the band enough to be kept on.
