Da Jacob Gyang Buba CFR, born on October 10, 1951, is a retired Nigerian customs officer and elder statesman. He held the position of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service from 2004 to 2008. Elected as the Gbong Gwom, or paramount traditional ruler of the Berom Kingdom, on April 1, 2009, he became the 5th Gbong Gwom following the death of Da Victor Dung Pam. Additionally, he chairs the Jos Traditional Council of Chiefs and serves as president of the Plateau State Traditional Council, and has been the Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University since March 2016.
