Born on February 12, 1920, he developed the 'Blue Book', a significant reference tool for libraries and various professions, including detectives and marketers. Cole published the Cole Directory, which listed residents by address and phone number across U.S. cities. His company, MetroGroup Corporation, continues to provide marketing services and online directories. Cole passed away on July 29, 2007, leaving behind three children and several grandchildren.
