John Roman Brown was an American football player and college athletics administrator. Born on October 24, 1902, he played college football for the University of Dayton and later played professionally for the Dayton Triangles. After his playing career, he took on a role in the administration of the athletic department at the University of Dayton, contributing to the development of college athletics until his death on November 25, 1987.
