Jack Ascherl is an American former politician born on February 12, 1937, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is an alumnus of Florida State University and holds designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Ascherl served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 1996 representing district 28. He held the position of speaker pro tempore of the House from 1995 to 1996 and is affiliated with the Democratic Party.
