John Collin William Allister, known as Jack, was an Australian rules footballer born on March 15, 1919. He played for North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Tragically, his life was cut short when he passed away on March 22, 1946, just a week after his 27th birthday. During his time in the VFL, he was also affectionately nicknamed 'Tich'. His contributions to the sport, despite his short career, have left a lasting impression on the North Melbourne football community.
