Ivan Mariz was a Brazilian footballer born on January 16, 1910, in Belém, Brazil. He was known for playing as a midfielder. Throughout his career, he played for Fluminense and helped the team clinch the Campeonato Estadual do Rio de Janeiro in 1936. Mariz also represented Brazil in the 1930 FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay, where the team was eliminated in the first round. He passed away on May 13, 1982, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
