He represented the Yugoslav national team in 7 international matches, scoring 4 goals, and also played for the French national team in 5 international appearances. Bek participated in the 1930 FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay with the Yugoslav team before later playing for France. He passed away on June 2, 1963, in Sète, France.
